Center for Next-Generational Leadership

Global Academic Partnerships

Our current partners who drive our mission forward around the world.

Partners of America Grant: Funded COIL Program

As part of our most recent COIL project, students from Dominican University, St. Mary's University (Canada), and Anáhuac University (Mexico City) came together for a dynamic, cross cultural learning experience. They collaborated on real-world business challenges, explored innovative solutions, and build meaningful connections across borders, preparing to lead with purpose in a globalized world.

EN-Roads Climate Innovation Workshop

Dr. Anjali Chaudhry is a certified Climate Ambassador through Climate Interactive. She integrates the En-ROADS climate simulation tool into her systems thinking and sustainability awareness. By leading interactive workshops, Dr. Chaudhry empowers students to explore the impacts of policy decisions on global climate outcomes, bridging the gap between innovation and environmental responsibility.

GRANTS AND FUNDING

Grants and Funding

At the heart of our commitment to advancing future-forward research that redefines leadership for a rapidly changing world. Through grant-supported initiatives and collaborative studies, we address global challenges related to sustainability, equity, technology, & innovation. This page highlights how strategic and scholarly research drives our mission to prepare the next generation with the skills to create meaningful change.

Partners of America Grant

The Partners of America grant played a key role in supporting our center's commitment to global collaboration & leadership development, while also allowing us to foster meaningful partnerships between Dominican University and academic institutions, businesses, & community organizations across North and South America. Initiative included:

  • Partnership between Dominican University, St. Mary's University (Canada), and Anáhuac University (Mexico)

  • Development for next gen climate leaders among minority students

  • Collaborative course containing Zoom meetings plus experiential initiatives

Cross-Community Climate Collaborative (C4) Non-Profit

Through our partnership in the C4, we align regional efforts to advance sustainability, equity, and climate resilience. C4 brings together municipalities, academic partners, and local organizations to collaborate on research-informed climate solutions. This initiative provides meaningful opportunities for students and faculty to engage in community-based research, contribute to emissions reduction strategies, and help shape policy though data-driven projects.
